We post and pack most items personally and use quality packaging materials. We do not charge for packaging. Our usual methods are by Royal Mail or Parcel Force and are therefore subject to their delivery schedules. As a general rule, items are dispatched within 3 working days of receipt of payment. We will agree with the purchaser the total shipping/postal costs before the sale agreement is reached. We are happy to quote for, and arrange door-to-door delivery of any items purchased from our website; however, if you would like to use your own carriers, arrangements can be made accordingly. We use the services of recognised professional freight carriers. As these companies offer a fully insured service, clients who pay the required insurance fees are covered against any loss, theft, breakage or damage during transport.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
Payment can be made using Paypal, cheque or bank transfer including International bank transfer. Please note that payment must include all additional bank or card charges which are applicable to your payment method. To ensure total confidentiality and security we do not use online payment/shopping carts,
but prefer to arrange payment in person, via email or by telephone.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
It is our express policy not to send items on approval as these are possibly one-off, individual items, occasionally of considerable age. We will refund or exchange your purchases within 7 days as long as the goods are returned with their original packaging, have not been used and are in the condition they were when despatched by us. We will not be liable for the cost of shipping/handling or insuring returned goods, except where the goods are faulty. Return insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser. Please be aware that some items are non-insurable in the post. Please contact us before returning any goods.
We are also happy to guarantee that our website descriptions note perceived visible faults or repairs that would materially affect the value of an item. If any damage or restoration is discovered within 7 days from the date of delivery, which was not specifically mentioned during the purchase process, the item can be returned for a full refund. However, please be aware that our stock is of considerable age and therefore it should not be expected to be as-new. It is specifically understood and agreed that the rescission of a sale and the refund of the purchase price is exclusive and in lieu of any other remedy in law or equity.
